College Football Playoffs

The college football season is coming close to an end and what an exciting one it has been. If you’re coming into town for the play off game at the Rose Bowl, and need airport transportation call Strack Ground. With two more weeks left in the regular season left the playoffs match ups today would be, No.1 Alabama vs No.3 Oklahoma, and No.2 Miami (FL) vs No.4 Clemson from the AP top 25 national updated 11/12/2017. The University of Georgia had the No.1 spot only for a week and quickly lost the top spot to Alabama after a 40-17 loss to Auburn. Many football analysts felt that Georgia never should have been ranked No. 1 in the first place as Alabama has proved their right to own the No.1 rank being dominant over their opponents throughout the season.

The hottest team of the latter half of this college football season has been the Miami hurricanes. They jumped from the No.19 spot to the No.2 over the course of the past two weeks with an upset over Notre Dame defeating the fighting Irish 41-8. Miami has not won a national championship since 2001 and needs to keep up the stellar play in order to achieve their overall goal.

The favorite to win the national championship this year is the Alabama Crimson Tide. There have been no doubts with this team taking it all the way with ease until the previous two opponents LSU and Mississippi State. The usual trend this season for Alabama has been defeating opponents by 20-30 point margins of victory. However last night against Mississippi State they scored the winning touchdown in the closing seconds of the game to sneak by. The close win by Alabama raised questions of their ability to win a championship this year since Mississippi State is an un-ranked team and had zero chance of beating Alabama according to pre game predictions. Analysts blame the high number of injuries plaguing Alabama which has been giving them difficulty closing out teams as of late.

If this season continues the way it has been going we should see a matchup of Miami and Alabama in the national championship which will be a great matchup for the sport and for fans.  Two teams will be playing at the Rose Bowl and the other two teams will be playing in the Sugar Bowl.  If you want a you luxury Rose Bowl Limo service contact Strack Ground.  It definitely won’t be a game you want to miss if you’re in Southern California!  You can see all of our vehicle options at www.rosebowllimo.com.
