Premier Transportation from LAX to Disneyland

Premier Transportation from LAX to Disneyland

Summer break is over.. but that doesn’t mean the fun vacations have to be! Fall can be one of the best times to visit the most magical place on earth since most are back in school. Lines are shorter and the park is just generally not as busy. Never been and not sure how to get from LAX to Disneyland? See here for a list of the top modes of transportation to/from LAX to/from Disneyland.

Car Rental

When traveling into LAX, you can always utilize a car rental service from one of the many companies around. Depending on the size of your group, and what kind of vehicle you want, rates can be from $20 to over $100 a day. Once landing, most car rental services have a shuttle that pick you up outside of baggage claim and take you to the office. One good thing about car rental over a shuttle is that you have the freedom to go to more than just your hotel. Beware though… this might be a great idea until you remember all the extra money you will be spending on parking because parking is never free, even at the happiest place on earth.

Shuttle Bus

There are a number of shuttles to Disneyland from a multitude of companies in the Los Angeles area. With buses leaving every half hour to hour depending on the time of day this is a more cost efficient way to travel to your hotel. Disneyland offers the Disneyland Resort Express Shuttle which you do not need a reservation for, but there is a fee to ride. While getting to your destination in a cost effective way is great, you have to be staying in walking distance of the park which sometimes can be pretty pricey on its own. Be prepared to either walk the rest of the way to your hotel, or spend that extra saved money on a hotel room.

Metro (Bus and Rail)

The bus is another option you can take from LAX to Disneyland. To catch a bus from LAX you just exit the baggage claim and wait under the LAX Shuttle and Airline Connections sign on the lower/arrival level islands in front of each terminal. You will want to jump on bus/shuttle marked “G” to the aviation station and continue to the west end of the platform. From there you will need to board the Metro Rail Green Line headed east toward Norwalk. Once you arrive at the Norwalk Station board the Metro Express Line 460 bus headed to the Disneyland Resort. Sound like a lot? Hopefully your flight isn’t around any of the rush hours or lugging suitcases and keeping track of kids will add to the stress.
