Terms & Conditions

Thank you for booking your ground transportation with Strack Ground. Please verify the accuracy of ALL details on your reservation and note our CANCELLATION POLICIES.

Customer is responsible to review the details of this reservation confirmation for accuracy and to reply to this email with the right information if anything herein is incorrect. The company will not assume any liability for service failure if any information herein is incorrect and the customer failed to review and submit the necessary correction. If deposits are required, Customer agrees that the deposit schedule is based on estimated usage. Any overages will be charged to the

card on file once the trip has been completed.**This reservation confirmation is only an estimate. Final charges will be based on actual times of service.**

DEPOSITS

A 50% non-refundable deposit is taken at the time of booking for all van, mini coach and motor coach trips. Remaining balance is due 7 days prior to the event date. Any overages will be

charged once the trip has been completed. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferrable. A 4% Credit Card fee will be added to all deposits/transactions over $5,000.00

 

HOURLY RESERVATIONS

Hourly reservations are billed garage-to-garage. All hourly reservations are billed for the total number of hours reserved by the customer, even if the actual time used is less than the reserved number of hours.

 

CLEANING FEES

A biohazard cleaning fee will apply for cleaning and sanitation of any and all bodily fluids. This fee starts at $500. Should the vehicle need to be kept out of service, the fee will increase based on time needed to appropriately clean to a suitable state for the next trip. A cleaning fee of $350 applies for cleaning and sanitation for all other detailed cleaning required for excessive trash left in the vehicle.

There is ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING of any kind allowed in vehicles including vaping. A cleaning fee starts at 12 hours of the vehicle’s hourly rate for the ionization process needed to

remove any smoke or odor from the vehicle. All stated fees are minimum amounts and the final fee will be solely determined by management.

The company is not responsible for deviations or service failures caused by accidents, road closures, flight delays, breakdowns, inclement weather, traffic, or any other conditions beyond our control. If any such condition prevents us from providing the scheduled transportation services, the maximum liability the company will assume shall not exceed the projected total cost of the scheduled transportation service.

Our Sedans, SUVs, Executive Vans and MiniBuses can accommodate for their maximum seating capacity only if luggage is carry-on size or smaller. Please confirm with your customer service representative for the proper vehicle size that will fit your luggage capacity needs.” No luggage in the passenger compartment.

 

SURCHARGES/FEES

Any reservations scheduled between 11:00 pm and 05:00 am will incur a $25 Off Hours Fee.

This fee is paid in total to chauffeur.

Holiday Surcharges will be added for New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and both Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.

A $25 pet fee will be added for each pet NOT in a crate, except for service animals. But, · The passenger must disclose at the time of booking that they will have a pet. · The pet must be always on a leash for safety reasons.

Customers will be responsible for any damage caused by any passenger or any pet NOT in a crate above and beyond the pet fee.

Customers are responsible for tolls, parking and airport fees.

Cooler with ice Fee- $25, Water is Complimentary for first 10 boles, $25 per case, *Alcohol in vehicles- It’s allowed but no glass containers.

Stocking Fee of $50 will be charged if refreshments are requested to be stocked for the trip PLUS the cost of the items requested will be added to the final bill. We will try our best to accommodate the exact items but is not guaranteed

Child seats, costs- $15 per child seat and installing the seat is the passenger’s responsibility.

The company reserves the right to substitute any vehicle requested with same size or higher capacity vehicles at no additional charge and without notice if the requested vehicle type is not available.

The company and the chauffeur reserve the right to terminate a trip for unruly, threatening, or unsafe behavior by passengers at any time.

All FBO arrivals are billed hourly if the private jet transponder is blocked and the company is unable to track the flight.

The customer can make changes as necessary within the free cancellation period provided the

company has the logistics to accommodate. When the free cancellation window closes, any request to make changes may result in the re-booking of a new service and the initial service billed as scheduled.

Cancellation Policy (Except Special Events): · Sedans and SUVs – airport transfers: 2 hours and all non-airport reservations unless out of the local operant area · Sprinters, Mini-coaches and Motorcoaches – 7 days

The company is not responsible if the passenger misses his/her flight. If the passenger “No shows” the customer will be responsible for the projected total cost of the reservation. *The company reserves the right to bill hourly for any airport pick up if the passengers are scheduled to arrive on different flights.

Wait me applies to all transfer reservations are the grace period ends and is billed per minute increment at the vehicle type’s hourly rate. Grace periods: · NON airport pickups – 15 minutes · Domestic airport arrivals – 45 minutes · International airport arrivals – 45 minutes

Airport Fees:

LAX: Airport Fee: $5.00 for sedan and SUVS, $9.00 for Executive Vans, Mini Coaches, and Motor Coach.

SNA: Airport Fee: $2.00 LGB: Airport Fee: $5.00 BUR: Airport Fee: $5.00 ONT: Airport Fee: $12.00

 

BAGGAGE MEET SERVICE AND FEES:

A friendly and professional chauffeur will meet you with a personalized sign displaying your

name or the company logo, making it easy for you to identify them.

Our chauffeur will assist you with retrieving your luggage from the baggage claim area. They will handle the loading and unloading of your bags, ensuring that you can relax and focus on your journey.

LAX: $25.00 SNA: $10.00 LGB: $10.00 BUR: $15.00 ONT :$15.00

 

FORCE MAJEURE

Neither party shall be liable or responsible to the other party, nor be deemed to have breached these Terms & Conditions, for any failure or delay in fulfilling or performing any term of these Terms & Conditions, including any applicable Event Agreement, when and to the extent such failure or delay is caused by or results from acts or circumstances beyond such party’s reasonable control (each, a “Force Majeure Event”), including, without limitation, acts of God, flood, fire, severe storms, mudslides, avalanches, tornadoes, governmental actions, acts of authority whether lawful or unlawful, compliance with any law or governmental order, rule, regulation or direction, war, invasion or hostilities, terrorist threats or acts, riot, or other civil unrest, national emergency, plague, epidemic, pandemic, outbreaks of infectious disease or any other public health crisis (including quarantine or other employee restrictions), lock-outs, strikes or other labor disputes (whether or not relating to either party’s workforce), or restraints or delays affecting carriers, fuel shortages, national or regional shortage of adequate power, telecommunications or transportation; provided that the affected party (i) provides prompt written notice of the Force Majeure Event, and (ii) uses its reasonable efforts to correct such failure or delay in its performance.

The provisions of the Cancellation Section shall not apply to cancellation of Services due to a Force Majeure Event and all amounts paid by Client, less any time or costs incurred by Company and reasonable fees for the estimated time expended by the Company prior to such cancellation, shall be returned or applied to future Services at Client’s option; provided, however, that the minimum amount retained by the Company pursuant to the foregoing shall be not less than twenty-five percent (25%) of the Estimated Fee. For purposes of these Terms & Conditions, “governmental actions” include (a) any directive given by the World Health Organization, Centers for Disease Control, or other government agency that recommends the restriction of travel to an Event location due to any SARS or H1N1 situation and prevents at least 50% of the attendees from arriving on the first peak night of the Event, or (b) any issuance by the Office of Homeland Security of a Red Level Travel Alert where there is a severe risk of terrorist attacks on or during the dates of the Event.

“Terrorism” includes a reasonable time period, not to exceed three (3) days, following an act of terrorism on U.S. soil that substantially curtails air travel or predisposition to air travel given the extreme nature of the attack.

Strack is fantastic! I was looking into cars for my wedding… We ended up going with a Sprinter van to transport my husband’s family from their rental house to the venues and back, and they were thrilled with the service. I’ve had about 11 drivers from this company and all of them have been absolutely top notch. Super professional, intelligent conversationalists (a big one for me, being trapped in a car with someone for 3 hours a trip), really well-dressed and polite with free amenities like good magazines to read and free water. Of course they set the car temperature to the customer’s wants and the let the customer choose any radio/satellite station they prefer.
